Jupiter RGB and IR from 19 September. Seeing conditions this last week have been very (and I mean very!) poor,
possibly due to the surface winds we have been experiencing,hopefully as a precursor to some good rain,which is needed.
Most sessions were a write-off,although I am still working through some data to see if I can squeeze anything reasonable out.
Decent B data is particularly hard to come by under these conditions. Jupiter is dropping closer to the neighbours roof,which is not assisting.
Io’s shadow is in transit.
On a more positive note,I believe the images do seem to show that the two S4 ovals,AWO-2 and LRS-1 are in fact moving
