皆さんからの報告で、1日間の全周のダストストームの様子が初めて記録できた。初期の頃のダストストームの進行した部分には、
常に明るくなって見える部分ができている。Marinerisがそれにあたり、画像ではいつも黄色く明るく同じ写り方をしている。
これと同じように、どの画像にもいつも明るく写り、なおかつIRで明るく写っているものは、地表に砂が堆積した場所だと考えられる。
このような地域が、今日は見られ、Aurorae Sinusから北西方向にそのような部分が見られる。今回からは、その部分を茶色に着色している。
今後見つけたら、同じように色を変えて示していきたい。
ダストストームの晴れている領域はMare Cimmeriumよりも東の暗色模様の地域である。なぜか、この部分は、今回のダストストーム
では取り残された地域と言える。今日はMare Cimmeriumを横切る雲が見えたことから、この部分もこれからダストストームに
覆われていくものと思われる。
今日はSyrtis Majorの北半分が晴れ間から見えており、肉眼でもその姿を淡くとらえることができた。また、これにつながって
Sinus Sabaeusも一部が見えており、淡いながらもおなじみの姿に近い表面の様子が見えた。この様子は荒川・安達・井上の各氏が
とらえている。
今日の観測では南極冠の様子が凄まじい。ダストストームにあちこちが覆われ、完全に見えているのは10％くらいだろう。晴れている
部分はArgyreの南側だけになったようだ。この部分は北側にダストストームの晴れた領域と重なっている。
Javier Fuertes氏は、Mare Sirenunの東の先端部分に明るいダストスポットを記録した。
In a report from everyone, it was possible to record the situation of the whole week's dust storm for the first time. In the early days of
the dust storm where the dust storm has progressed, there is always a part that looks bright. Marineris faces that, in images it is
always yellow and bright and looking the same way. Just like this, anything that always looks brighter on any image, and that is reflected
brightly at the IR, is considered to be the place where sand accumulated on the surface of the earth.
Such areas are seen today, such parts can be seen northwest from Aurorae Sinus. From this time it is colored brown. If I find it in the future,
I would like to change the color in the same way and show it.
The sunny area of the dust storm is a darker area in the east than Mare Cimmerium. For some reason, this part can be said to have been
left behind in this dust storm. As we saw the clouds crossing the Mare Cimmerium today, it seems that this part will be covered with
the dust storm from now on.
Today, the northern half of Syrtis Major is visible from the clear, and even with the visual image it was able to grasp the figure pale.
Also connected to this, Sinus Sabaeus was also able to see a part, and although it was pale, I could see the appearance of the surface
close to the familiar figure. This situation is captured by Mr. Arakawa, Adachi and Inoue.
The situation of the SPC is terrible at today's observation. Dust storms are covered here and there seems to be about 10% that is
completely visible. The sunny part seems to be only on the south side of Argyre. This part overlaps the sunny region of the dust storm
on the north side.
Mr. Javier Fuertes recorded a bright dust spot on the east tip of Mare Sirenun.

通常の表面模様とは合致しませんが、ダストストームが薄れてきているのか、あちらこちらに濃淡のムラがあります。

りの天気でしたが、しばらく待ちほんのわずかに晴れ、淡い火星像を捉えました。砂塵が広まり、南極冠や暗色模様も淡く影響は大きいです。

シーイングがよく、さあ始めようと思ったら隣のガレージに車が返ってきて、シーイングは一気に悪化。もうがっくり・・
シルチスの先端はすぐにわかったが、そのほかは見えにくく、注視するとサバエウスがみえている。
SPCはダストストームで真っ二つになっており、面白い火星面だった。しかし、模様や明るい雲を探すのにものすごい時間が必要で、観測は困難を極めた。

Finally after two weeks of clouds and poor seeing I was able to get in a decent observation of dusty Mars!
Will also try some derotation of this data set later in the week.
Here are the green channels from this set,showing the current extent of the dust areas of 6/16 UT from this side of Mars.

A bit of a delay in processing due to a rather nice Father’s day weekend.
I continue to monitor the region between CM 40 and 90,including Vallis Marineris and Solis Lacus.
Conditions were rather poor and RGB data was not good,although the IR was a bit better,
