Comment by Makoto Adachi
Sinus Sabaeus
Paul G. Abel
Mare Sirenum

In the IR image of Mr. Anthony Wesley, the light spots on the northern margin of Meridiani seen the previous day are also recorded today.
It is understood that it is not a sudden phenomenon.
The dust storm which had spread to the west area than Meridiani extended a little to the east and covered the entire Meridiani.
Only Sinus Sabaeus is left behind and it looks dimly dark. In the image of Mr. Horiuchi, the dark fringe is more clear in the west than
Hellespontus, while in the south of Hellas it is covered with a dust storm and it seems to be invisible.
Mr. Paul G. Abel recorded the dust storm in the west of Mare Sirenum which was recorded the previous day by eye observation observation.

some good seeing on Mars at times this morning, once again only the IR filter shows much detail apart from the poles.
Here's an image using a 750nm longpass IR filter combining data captured over a 20 minute period.
Hellas basin is the bright dust-filled circular feature at lower right,
with a distinct halo of dust outside as well. Syrtis Major is faintly visible to it's north.

Didn’t have much time last night,
so a quick monitoring IR only under rather poor conditions and quite heavily processed.

Robert Heffner
Passing clouds again for the 4th straight imaging session,
will keep at it for the capture and processing practice and hope for better conditions soon.
Hopefully this one less noisy than last one.

Attached is my final set of Mars observations made at the Lowell Observatory on 22nd July,2018. Seeing was better but the details were still somewhat vague.
The Mare Cimmerium was streaking across the disk with some brightening in Aeolis. Interestingly Elysium didn't seem to be particularly bright.
