After a long period of closed sky or strong hazze around the sun, here is a report of Venus performed on 9th nov. with the 80mm apo. Correct images at the eyepiece Under a consistent transparent sky involved the report transmitted to your attention. Ashen light was there, especially Under long waves (the W8 and W29 filters) with a noticeable intensity of light, however not at the level of past elongations.
