Unfortunately very poor conditions combined with a raging Jetstream overhead meant that RGB was out of the question,
so I captured a mountain of IR and CH4 data in the hope of confirming: a)
the SEBs ring having passed and survived the chimney in IR and b) any possible flaking activity in CH4.
Attached is some of the best derotated data I could get out of the CH4.
I would like to think that there is sufficient to suspect that the SEBs ring may have initiated a new flake.
Confirmation from better data is however required.

Regarding the IR,very heavy processing was applied.
It appears to me that the SEBs ring has managed to cross the mouth of the chimney/rift.
However there appears to be two features in the NW corner of the GRS hollow:
An elongated feature on the edge of the hollow and a small circular feature on the elongated feature's lower right edge.
I have shown a comparison with my IR image from 26th.
I would like to think that the SEBs ring is the elongated feature, but I cannot say this for certain(possibly too large?).
Hoping that other imagers may be able to get better data. Also HST may cast some light on the matter.
Either way,I think that this data supports the CH4 images, which show potential flake formation just ahead of these features(as always, open to debate on these issues!).

Another session negatively impacted by Jetstream conditions, with seeing deteriorating further as the GRS transited.
The IR shows some structure across the western edge of the hollow, but it is not clear if any of this is the SEBs ring.
I have included the G and B which are not particularly good, but they do appear to show something is happening on the NW edge of the GRS.
At this resolution,I am just not sure what!
The CH4’s do not appear to show any major flake formation as yet.
At this point I am suspecting that the SEBs ring, even if it has survived, may have been affected in some way by the chimney
(and possibly a jet that runs on the NW edge of the Hollow when the chimney is open?),
but more(and hopefully better) data may give a better indication.

An earlier image set from 28 June as I was setting up for the later GRS session. Below average conditions

Hi all, conditions last night were good enough for CH4 and IR images,
attached. In the IR we can see some disruption happening around the edge
of GRS,most notably at upper right in this image as a ragged edge to
the bright inner core. (The bright core in IR would normally show as red
in RGB images).

Some compact bright storms can also be seen to the left of the GRS. The
"chimney" is still open above the GRS. Interestingly,if we can use the
colours here as a guide,it appears the brighter material coming up the
chimney is higher than the darker cloud coming in from the right on the
SEBs,as it appears to be obscuring it. I'm not sure if this is real or
simply an optical illusion.
