Hi all, some reasonable seeing for a short while yesterday just on
sunset, here's an image of Jupiter using a 750nm longpass filter showing
the GRS rising at lower left and the remnant of the orange "flakes" that
were ejected from the GRS a few months ago still visible as the dark
ring just right of lower centre.

Two sets from yesterday evening. In the early set Oval BA is at lower right.
I note that the SEBs appears to be affected (pushed south?) by the large light oval in the SEB.
This may cause some interaction between the ("static") STrB ring and an approaching SEBs ring/disturbance in the coming days.

In the second set,the GRS is coming into view.
I note that the two rings at lower right (SEBs and STrB) are getting close and may interact within the next day or two. Worth keeping an eye on them.
There also appears to be a subtle bluish feature in the STrZ ahead of the GRS

Decent conditions for imaging with the C8 again.
 - A small white oval is northwest of Io's shadow.
 - The Equatorial Zone is still orange.
 - Oval BA is rising.
 - The South Temperate Belt has two blue streaks approaching the central meridian. Are these new structured segments?
 - Io and its shadow are transiting the North Equatorial Belt.
