A dust storm crossing the north side of Hellespontus was recorded. This dust storm band seems to be connected with Noachis'
dust storm. Mr. Inoue's observation shows the situation clearly. Mr. Paul G. Abel records how the 0 degree west direction is
yellowing. This is the effect of the dust storm. Mr. Manos Kardasis is imaging the same position, but it records the same appearance.

Here is the report of Mars performed with the 150mm cassegrain under average to good images and 315x magnification.
At the issue as the images were going better I used the 235mm cassegrain for some confirmations.
On the terminator:
Phaetontis,Electris was seen bright with all filters (W8,W11,RG435): some mist.
Nix Olympica area was seen bright with all same filters: misty hazze probably.
On the meridian:
Solis lacus was seen conspiscious. Taumasia area was seen with lowered contrast but still there.
Seemed to be at the eyepiece as a relative notch.
On the limb:
Mare Erythraeum was seen with a cut on joining Taumasia area.
This is a singular point. All filters showed this feature, but the W8 showed may be the stronger brightness,
that may involve on a more dusty hazze to a dust storm (difficult to choice the 2 possibilities,
observing conditions are needed better on level).
Chryse,Xanthe were seen bright with all the same filters: probably a mist hazze.
on.
Argyre exhibited a whitish appearance with all the same filters.
On the poles:
The northern part of the north hemisphere exhibited a polar hood,
whitish but also some thin hazze from the limb to the terminator, well noted with the blue RG435 filter.
The south pole area seemed covered also with a thin whitish hazze, well noted with the RG435 filter.
Even with the tiny planet size of 6.7",such events were noted.
The feature modification of the "usual" pattern stays in the notch observed on Taumasia area and on Mare Erythraeum.

Attached are two drawings of Mars made on 17th January 2019 using the University of Leicester's 20 inch Planewave Dall-Kirkham telescope.
Seeing was never any better than average but there were a number of interesting things on the disk which is now getting rather small at 6.7"
Drawing 1 (IL) 1733UT:
- The north preceding limb contained bright yellowish clouds placing them over Erythraeum and into the Argyre basin.
These I think must be the dust storm clouds which seems to be spreading westwards.
- Solis Lacus on the preceding side of the disk- the features were rather muted with evidence of yellowish colour.
- There seemed to be a yellowish streak in northern part of Solis Lacus-
it was hard to be sure as the yellowish colour was quite subtle and it is quite possible it was just a brighter region and nothing to do with the storm.
- Mare Sirenum visible and quite dark.
- The far north seemed to contain a lot of bright white clouds.
Drawing 2 (W#23A) 1748UT:
- The albedo features are a little easier to see in this filter as they appear somewhat darker.
- View fairly similar to IL,the yellowish clouds still much in evidence.
- The streaks visible in Solis Lacus and maybe Valles Marineris.
