May you all have a nice 2019 astronomical year! This week I took a last opportunity to take a full Neptune spectrum, with infrared part. To use filters of order in a easier way, I had to buy a Star analyser 200, the backfocus of my telescope beeing not long enough to use the SA100 with my filter slider :(. This time I used a RG630 filter to get the infrared part. Unfortunately it is significantly noiser. As for Uranus, I made two processings, one for the reflectance of Neptune, the other for the colour response. This allows me to compare the colour response of both Uranus and Neptune. Neptune does not look to be really brighter in blue than Uranus, but Uranus looks slightly brighter in green and red, hence the difference in the perceived tint at the eyepiece.
