I made these captures of Venus on April 20th,but have only just processed them to produce this false colour image.
I was very pleased with this as Venus was getting lower in the sky as it moved towards conjunction behind the Sun and so it was only 12 arc seconds in size.
As such it was quite well illuminated at nearly 86%.
Here I followed one convention which is to map:
- IR (850nm Band Pass) to Red
- A 50:50 blend of the IR and UV to Green
- UV to Blue
