I again planned two sessions on Jupiter, the first on the Juno flyby track and the second on the GRS about an hour later.
Although seeing was pretty decent for the first set, conditions went quickly downhill, and I am only submitting the PJ27 track images.
The small flake, which I believe is the remnant of the flake that was observed on the western side over the last week or so,
can be seen on the p edge of the GRS in CH4(also captured by others).

I have to say,the sweeping EZ festoons are stunning.

A few things that may be of interest close to the track:

- Quite a bit of detail showing in the NPR
- The dark segment of the SSTB(SSSTB?)
- The highly complex region of the NEB may have moved closer to the track by the 2nd
- The stunning sweeping EZ festoons, although they would have moved quite a bit by the 2nd.
- A number of features preceding/sp the GRS in the STrZ,including some blue spots, ring remnants(?) and the subtle dark feature sp the GRS.
- Hopefully get a view of the southern ovals,as well as the numerous dark and light spots np the large oval.
- There is a weak flake showing on the east edge of the GRS(CH4),but I expect that to be gone by the flyby.

Seeing started out pretty fair at 6-7/10,but quickly diminished and went downhill fast.
For the majority of my imaging session the seeing was in and out with difficulty maintaining stable focus throughout imaging runs.
As usual,IR was a bit better.

Good seeing was only a hope based on the fact that the jet stream was not upon my observing site, but instead of it,
I had clouds and the gaps between clouds were turbulent sometimes. I only could get three videos. Only two images were good.

GRS on CM. NEB much more turbulent and darker than SEB as it's usually been this season.
The dark spot on the whitened STB is closer to the GRS than in my previous images of this region. A7 on the preceding side,
A8 on the following side, the white spots visible on SSTB.
Oval BA is rising on the latter image.

シーイングは中程度。透明度が非常によく、色が分かる。ただし
明るすぎるためNDフィルターを用いて観測。

Jupiter under average conditions, with my 1st acceptable rgb at 25° high,
that shows what I can expect for this opposition :(

We can see around the great red spot the reddish chimney opening North,
the following part, and the unusual dark spot south west. North EZ is quite yellow.

Poor seeing with a lot of cloud-interference produced a less-than-satisfactory outcome although some intersting detail is evident:
those 5um "hotspots" along the more Northern regions of the EZ & into the NEB being one such aspect...
