I did not expect to image today. A new camera arrived (QHY 462C).
The sky was overcast early this evening until the time I slept. But the sky cleared during midnight! The QHY 462 is a high NIR QE camera!
Seeing was good most of the time but deteriorated when I took my last image.
The color image was take with a 290M while the IR850 and CH4 images are taken with the new camera.

This is the quiet side of Jupiter before the GRS. The NEB is quiet in this region.
The resolution of the methane band image is much better than my old camera and it only took half the time to capture these data!

At last some improvement in conditions last night for a short session, covering the region following the GRS.
It can't be too long before Oval BA slips below the GRS (does anyone have projected dates yet?).
Should be interesting, particularly with the features nf the oval.

A very poor seeing. I had difficulties with jet stream, but it was interesting to register Io and its shadow on the CM.
Note some rifts on NEB, a dark festoon on EZ. Ovals on SSTB are A1, A2 and A3 (from right to left). Calm SEB here, so is the NTB in this area.
