台風9号の尻尾の東側の晴れ間に来て撮影できました。
NTBs の第一白斑が出てきたところでしたが、
3枚目の後曇ってしまいました。
気流も良くないのでぼやけた感じですが、
撮影できただけでもよしとしたいです。

久しぶりに晴れたので、ただ撮影しました、という感じです。

Hi all,here's an image of Jupiter from yesterday afternoon just on
sunset in reasonable seeing. The NTB outbreak #2 can be seen to the
right of top centre. The central core seems very bright and there is a
small tail starting to develop.

日中は滝のような雨が降ったりしましたが、思いがけず夕方に晴れました。
薄雲が取れず、シーイングもペケでした。
NTBs outbreakの先行白斑は少し見えづらいように思いました。
そろそろ衰え始める頃なのですが、薄雲とシーイングのせいかもしれません

After a number of cloudy evenings,I managed to catch the new NTB outbreak,first reported by Eric Sussenbach,as it transited.
Not great seeing conditions,but also not terrible

晴れと豪雨とが急変する昼間の空模様を思い出しながら望遠鏡をセットしました。
シーイングも悪く早々に撤収となりました。
NEBからEZにかけてフェストーンの隙間のようですがクサビ状の大きくて明るい模様が印象的でした

Condition was surprisingly good today.  But there were periods of unstable seeing.

These images show the development of the first NTB Jetstream Outbreak!
It has developed into a huge complex system with multiple anticyclones on its wake.
Dark material continue to be forming on its wake.
It would be interesting to see what happens when the second outbreak hits the tail end of the first outbreak!

The second new outbreak is front and center in this. Seeing was not good. Very average/nearly below average.
