We finally got a clear night this evening, and I was able to make a drawing of the conjunction with a 66mm OG,
at x78. To the naked eye,Jupiter is a lot brighter than Saturn,
while in the telescope I found that Saturn contained much more bronze/warmer hues.
Interesting to be able to see a substantial fraction of the mass of the solar system in the same field of view!

Poor bright sky conditions for this RGB and IR of Jupiter one day before the great conjunction.
The GRS was just setting at lower right in the RGB and Io's shadow was ending its transit.
The upcoming Juno flyby track is towards the right of the image, although very few features can be made out.

Unfortunately, the weather was awful on monday 21th,
but I could make an image on the 20th!
On the original image, Jupiter is strongly surexposed,
I replaced it by an image made the same evening, at 16:13 UT
