Here is a report performed with the R76mm under good images on best¬moments and operated under a transparent sky.
No bright spot.
AL was more than suspected with the R filter, full dark side,as shown, with polar filter exhibiting full dark side,¬ with 60/88x magnification, planet heigth¬41‹,also with¬ a marked yellowish orange dark tint well noted near the terminator and away. Cusp extension was evaluated to¬be more suspected at south and north with britghter¬limb portions on dark side.
Dark markings on the AL light was there,¬seemed¬tilted in correlation with the cusp extention.
The light intensity on dark side was degrading from¬terminator¬towards the dark side limb, full extension with the R,YG,B and¬ using polar filter, with the R filter at 60x/88x magnifications and no filter/polar filter with 60x magnification on full dark side extention, the intensity was almost reaching a L1 ¬(3 the highest) .
Turning the polar filter by 90‹ extincted¬the light level to a reduced level intensity and extention, but not null, the variation of light remained¬subtil but well noted, its extention¬limited to 3/4 of dark side.
Zones 1 and 2 exhibited a brighter light on the darl¬side following the cusp extentions. With 80A filter zone 1 was brighter than zone 2,fully inverted situation using the 23A filter. Amazing!

Here are other pictures of¬ Venus when it has just passed west of the Sun and now shows an open atmospheric ring while it is 4.5 ‹ from the Sun. The Venusian disc is barely lit at 0.3%.
First images show an almost symetric shap when Venus was at the East of the Sun on May 31st and the second when the planet was passed the West of the Sun on July 6th.
The third image is a hard process of the second by stacking dozen of movies and darking the background and venusian disk. The atmospheric ring wasn't touched of modified. Maybe,my best Venus picture of my life.
Always taken at Br¬tigny-sur-Orge,France with a Takahashi FC100 D + Barlow + ProPlanet filter 742 nm and ZWO ASI Camera 183 MC-S.
