Far from ideal conditions, with some jet stream and high cloud, but after a 2 week break due to weather and last weekfs Namibia trip,
it was just nice to be back out in the observatory. The GRS is setting, and the barges in the NEB are very prominent.
The extended DS7(CSR) is approaching the CM at lower left. Conditions went further downhill as the evening progressed.

Attached is an observation of Jupiter made last night.
Conditions were somewhat strange, although there was tremor in the image, definition was rather good!
The SSTB-STB continues to show some interesting complex structure, and the SEB(s) was rather dark and undulating.
EZ(s) was white and orange colour present in the EZ(n). Darker sections present in the NTB and NNTB.

Also show are Ganymede and Callisto which were particularly close.
This provided a good comparison with size and colour- as can be seen Ganymede was yellowish but Callisto contained definite brownish hues.
