Hi friends, please replace the "Europa" detail image and the "Chimney" feature image with this new image.
I made a mistake in the previous image.

Jupiter from 2021/09/13 0155_4 UT - Sattelites Europa and shadow,IO and Ganymedes

----- Marc Delcroix start---------
Jose Luis Pereira from Brazil discovered very probably a new impact on Jupiter.
TO ALL OBSERVERS: CHECK YOUR VIDEOS AROUND THE INDICATED TIME (+:-5 min) to see if you detected also this impact.
IF SO PLEASE CONTACT US (Ricardo Hueso,Marc Delcroix).

Despite the bad weaether conditions,he decided to observe to look for impacts with DeTeCt software.
He did see something on screen while tweaking the parameters on hi first video,
but thought it could be due to the very bad conditions (lot of fog,Jupiter even disappearing).

He then later ran DeTeCt (as usual ;) )
to check if it could be a real impact and the program alerted him about a high probability impact.

Here is an image from last night obtained by Rico and myself using the 50cm telescope on La Palma.
A brief spell of reasonable seeing. The GRS is central surrounded by a grayish collar. Europa in transit at left.

Here is an image from last night from Rico and myself.
A spell of fairly good seeing. This was taken 1hr following the impact flash event at 22:39 UTC.
We did not capture the flash itself unfortunately. No visible marking across the cloud tops is seen.
Much like all the previous impact flash events no visible scar was left.

Poor early evening conditions,so I concentrated on a long string of methane captures,
covering some of the EZ active region.

A quick submission of a CH4 from yesterday evening, approx. 20-21hrs after the impact.
I got a full set of data under variable conditions with some decent spells.
The image is with the impact site almost on the CM,although I assume there would be some slight drift to the east.
I will process the balance of my data later today as I am giving a talk to 1659 year olds this morning- on the planets off course!

Once again, congratulations to Jose Luis, the other observers that captured the impact,
and Marc and the DeTect team. Wonderful!

Last night the conditions did not improve compared to the previous attempt a few days ago.
Despite this,I did not want to miss the transit of the satellite "Io" and its shadow
(eclipse on the right edge of the image) on the giant planet, with the majestic Great Red Spot in full evidence.

Poor seeing for the methane image, greatly improved for the rgb which is nicely detailed.
