Initially the seeing was OK but nothing special, however it tended to get better as I observed, and at 18:00 I started the sketch.
I was just ready to finish when at 18:30 suddenly the seeing went almost completely perfect for a good 10-15 seconds.
Such a clean view of the NPH,and the morning mist across〓Hellas and the slender region between Syrtis Major and the terminator.
The NPH looked weak in that I could see the land through it even though it still appears bluish white.
The morning mist was very similar, streaky and delicate with surface colour showing through,
somewhat bluish to the west of Syrtis Mj,whiter over Hellas.
A diagonal〓incursion of bluish white cloud onto the disc at the point where the morning mist and the NPH meet.
Impossible to render the〓beauty of it〓 with my pastels,it would need a watercolour painting to do it justice.〓
If only that steadiness could have continued longer!

The preceeding limb (PL) still appears bright in G & B,esp. near the equator.
There seems to be haze in the south (17:31 at the PL close to the south pole,
and 19:26 around Hellas, but more distributed than the previous day).
The bright regions between Syrtis and the PL (19:26 image) were also noticable visually.

Once more the seeing was very good allowing the use of powers of x600.
By the time of drawing 2,seeing had dropped off a little, but was still tolerable. Points of interest include the following:
・SPR a brighter but ill defined. The Mare Australe was a little more prominent at these longitudes however.
・The Hellas basin again seemed brighter to the north, probably due to white clouds.
The basin contained a more yellowish colour in the south.
・Mare Hadriacum and Hellespontus quite dark and fairly well defined.
・Syrtis Major not uniform, the northern part of it seemed to be darker than the south. Bright clouds in Libya?
・Ausonia and Hesperia were brighter tonight and formed two well defined zones on the disk. Eridania may also have been bright.
・There appeared to be a bright cloud on the prec. terminator in Drawing 1- this had dissipated or at least,
was not in evidence by the time of drawing 2.
・Noachis was a little better defined tonight, while both Pandorae Fretum and Sinus Sabaeus were rather dark.
・The NPC was quite bright and as before, there seemed to be some vague markings immediately south of it.

Imaged Mars in broad daylight today. Finding the planet still works good.
When seeing allows, a good lot of detail is still visible.
I was lucky and had some good moments this afternoon. Prominent NPH.
Some dust and clouds in the west over Mare Sirenum.
