A double image of Mars from March 2nd. Stable seeing over approximately an hour gave me another good chance to monitor marsian weather.
In the first image from 16:43 UT two prominent and distinct clouds over Palinuri Sinus and Phaethontis are visible.
Hazy Electris and Eridania area. Also some haze in the Thyle I region.
I suspect the brighter spot down left to be Olympus Mons. Proceeding limb in the Tharsis area witish-yellow, may be dust in the atmosphere.
NPH prominent.
Second image shows clouds in the southern hemisphere partially vanishing, also bright atmosphere on P-limb less prominent.

Clear and calm night with only occasionally turbulent air. Probably the longest Mars set for me this year.
The southern hemisphere seems generally misty, especially Mare Cimmerium (almost not distiguishable in the B-images).
There is a concentrated haze/cloud patch over Electris/Edania, which seems to dissolve a bit with time. In the end
Syrtis Major and Hellas are emerging from the terminator, also with some
haze (effect is rather faint, but B-channel quality suffered with Mars at lower altitude).
At the equator, the preceeding limb appears bright,
this changes with time. The NPH/NPC seems less extended with increasing
martian longitude. In the northern hemisphere, Elysium is a prominent feature.
