After a two week break due to weather and last week痴 Namibia trip,it was nice just to be back out in the observatory.
Conditions were not great, with high cloud requiring me to push the gain a bit,and some jet stream influence was clear on screen.
Other than its natural beauty, the diversity of colours that Saturn shows is eye-catching. In particular,
I love the collar around the NPR,although I have no idea how to describe the colour!

Attached is an observation of Saturn made in average conditions.
Although definition was average, I decided to use a higher power of x375 which made the observation of finer detail easier in the steadier moments:
・Southern hemisphere can be seen and a vague feature visible.
・EZ bright with hint of EB visible. The C-Ring crossing the zone is still rather dark,
・NEB broad with NEB(s) the darkest of the components.
・Greenish tint still present in the NNTZ
・A-Ring was brownish-grey
・B1-Ring quite bright, and white in colour.
・C-Ring seen, slight yellowish in colour.
