Imaged Saturn August 24th targeting a CM transit of the 2010 GWS AV with data covering 2 hours of Saturn rotation. This morphology of this AV has remained quite distinct insofar as it is a dark spot surrounded by a bright annulus; this has been well demonstrated in the HST OPAL data and well seen in the polar maps from this session. The AV is at approx Lat+42.5 L3 319 also of interest are two bright spots on the Southern edge of the NPR at approx Lat+65.6 L3 13.9 and Lat+64.5 L3 23.9. A ripple is resolved on the Southern edge of the NNTeB at approx Lat+47.5 L3 265.7 a series of such ripples were well resolved in the HST OPAL data from July 4th & 5th 2020. Mid latitude bright spots are resolved at approx Lat+30.5 L3 297.6, Lat+25.2 L3 311.2 and Lat+29.2 L3 318.5.
The seeing over this session was variable, the 685nm IR data was fair to very good the R data was reasonable while G and B data was fair at best.
