The image attached shows the virtues of the 462MC in the infrared (no need to!). The result obtained is in fact very similar to that of the 290MM, slightly noisier. The image was oriented with the satellites, bright enough to come out with exposures of a few seconds (not shown here). Seeing was not good enough to accurately define the edge of the polar cap, but the general outline and greater luminosity of the latter have certainly been recorded by both cameras.[Vincenzo della Vecchia : [Aversa,Italy]
