Attached is an observation of Venus I made this afternoon when the planet was high up in the daytime sky.
Seeing was only around AIV, and frequent passing cloud was a nuisance,
however it is nice to make a start on the new 2021-2022 eastern elongation.
In general, little was seen on the disk except for a vague cloud patch near the planet's equator.
No other brighter spots or cloud markings were seen.
Cusp Caps: The souther cusp cap *may* have been fractionally brighter,
it was much easier to see as the southern cusp collar was seen.
However I could not make out the cusp collar nor the northern cusp.
