Here are two images of Venus in UV light taken yesterday in unfair seeing by me and Raffaello Braga (U.A.I. Planetary Section),some hour apart.
I was quite doubtful about my result which is very noisy, and I suspected the equatorial band that appears on the image was a kind of artifact.
But the image by Raffaello shows a similar structure which makes us more confident about its reality.
The planet is still very small and close to Sun,this report could nevertheless be useful as documental
(given the lack of Cytherean observations at this point of elongation) and also for the sake of comparison for visual observers.

Dear sirs, I attach two infrared (IR1000) Venus images from May 28 and 30, to be compared to my previous May 27 image.
Unfortunately seeing prevented me from imaging on May 29, But I will try to obtain the best 4-day possible data.
