I was up a bit later than normal as I was anticipating stronger jet stream conditions.
But I found that conditions were good, and I scrambled to catch what I could of the bright morning planets before sunrise.
The view looks down on the Valles Marineris complex extending from the terminator to the centre with Solis Lacus nicely seen above centre.
The terminator gives the impression (in RGB) of being dusty,
but whether this is the case,or not, should become clearer in the next few days. Oh,and Mars has reached 6"!

Dear sirs, here are today's Mars images where Solis Lacus and Vallis Marineris are near the terminator,
and a yellowish patch (arrowed) is seen at the limb.
That feature is more conspicuous in RGB than in IR images.
