Attached is an observation of Mars made on the morning of 18th July using the University of Leicester's 508mm Planewave Dall-Kirkham. Seeing was fair, and a number of features were seen on the disk:

-The SPC was seen, but it did not appear to be oval. A Lowell band could be seen surrounding it.
-Solis LAcus was the main feature on the disk, Phrixi regio and Aonius Sinus were dark.
-Aurora Sinus was also quite dark, no sign of any bright cloud activity in Ophir and Candor.
-Thyle I and Phaethontis were brighter regions, and to the north the edge of the Mare Sirenum could be seen.
-To the north, more vague details were seen- there seemed to be vauge streaks in the Amazonis region.
-The following limb seemed brighter this morning than in the previous observation.
Observations stopped at 0238UT as it was becoming too light to observe.
