黄雲は、HELLASからAUSONIAに広がり、さらに南にも広がっているようです。サバ人の湾は根元も黄雲に隠れたのか、ハッキリしません。

赤外ではうっすらと表面模様がダストを透して見えますが、可視光ではごくごく淡く、ピント合わせが困難です。
逆に、僅かに残ったダストの被ってないところが濃い模様のように見えます。
今回、早い時間からスタンバイしていましたが、シーイングが悪すぎ、ようやく落ち着いてきた頃には流れる雲に何度も中断せざるをえない状況になっていました。
そのため、BE410画像は撮れませんでした。

高度が高いので，シーイングも良好で，火星の地表面も比較的明瞭に観察できた。ダストストームの発生もまだ続いている。
Because of the high altitude,seeing was good and the surface of Mars was relatively clear. Dust storms are still occurring.

久々に湿気の少ない夜でした。

最後の観測の時、黒い模様がほぼなくなり。赤道付近に淡いバンドが1本だけ見えた。 ここまで見えなくなっていたかと、改めて思いました。
必死になって見ていたら下の暗色模様でした。形が元通りに見えました。経度０°付近は、濃いダストの塊は少なく、目立った活動域は東西の端になったように見えました。
At the time of the last observation,the black pattern almost disappeared. Only one faint band was seen near the equator.
I thought again that I had lost sight of it. When I was desperate to see it,it was a dark pattern below.
The shape looked fine. Around 0° longitude,there were few dense dust clusters,and the conspicuous activity area seemed to be on the east and west edges.

晴れているので撮り始めましたが、ここ数日では最悪のシーイングで、さらに途中から雲が流れてくるようになり、なんとか１セット撮ったところで曇ってしまいました。

Attached are two observations made of Mars last night and early this morning. Seeing conditions were average,and there was haze and some low cloud at times. At present there is a large regional dust storm on Mars (Richard McKim has posted an alert on the BAA Forums). The western end of the dust storm was clearly visible last night,and with a p[power of x300 on my 12" Newtonian,I noted the following:
・The whole of Argyre I and Camp Phelgraei looked brilliant white. These could be dust clouds with faint orange colouring but my overall impression was that it looked like a pseudo SPC.
・There seems to be a lot of dust in Erythraeum- the whole area seems to look like a vague patchwork of fainter patches except for a the darker Protei Regio and Aurorae Sinus.
・The same is true for Solis Lacus- as can be seen in Drawing 2,there was little in the way of distinctive detail. Instead we have a collection of vague streaks and brighter spots.
・Ophir and Candor were bright,as was Chryse.
・No real sign of Niliacus Lacus,just a vague patch on the prec. limb.
・NPH much less distinctive tonight and I was unable to see the distinctive bluish colour which I have observed on a number of occasions during the current apparition.
At 0131UT,the clouds started to return once more and observing had to be abandoned. It seems that the dust storm is similar to the one of the last apparition and evolving in a similar way. As Richard McKim notes,we are nearing the end of the dust storm season so it is probably unlikely to develop into a global dust storm- but who can say for sure! UK observers should be able to observe the effected regions better over the next few weeks.

火星時間の時だけ雲がやって来てシーイングも悪くなり、厳しい写りです。

昨夜撮ったものと比較をしているのですが、黄雲が急速に薄まっている？ように思えます。
ガラリと地形が変わっているように見えます。
特に南極に近い、黒っぽいところが大きく変わっています。
I'm comparing it with the one I took last night.
It seems the dust storm rapidly fading.
It looks like the terrain is changing.
In particular,the dark areas near south pole have changed significantly.
