The jetstream had eased off substantially this morning and I had some nice conditions.
I am regretting not following my normal procedure (there were reasons....)
where I take at least two sets of images to confirm any interesting features.
The IR742 shows some nice sweeping features,
but the UV appears to show a vertical feature reminiscent of the cloud discontinuity seen in recent IR images,
but approximately half way between the expected IR CD visibility cycles.
I am hoping there may be some other observations that may be able to confirm.

Here are two filtered images obtained today with terrible seeing and strong daylight (Venus close to the meridian).
I think they will be useful to back Clyde's IR and UV images obtained today,
if we consider mine have a much lower resolution, and Venus had rotated for a few hours.
Anyway,IR markings are mostly latitude oriented, and in UV a "vertical" linear boundary is close to the p limb.

Attached is an observation of Venus made this morning. There was no sign of the cloud discontinuity but there were some interesting features visible:
-Dusky markings and brighter regions visible in IL and in filters.
-Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
-Terminator: Geometrically regular
-Cusp Regions: Both visible and rather large. The southern cusp may have been slightly larger.
-Cusp Collars: Both visible- the southern collar was more prominent (except in the W38 whereby the northern collar seemed to be darker).
The observation date and time is 2022 june 02nd,not 2022 june 22nd.
