Dear sirs, today's low-cloud coverage dispersed around local noon, leaving high-altitude clouds providing low contrast and bad seeing.
It was a bit past local noon when I obtained these two independent images, each one a single 5min SER where 5% of the frames were used.
The cloud discontinuity was tentatively identified very close to the limb,a position that greatly impairs its visibility. It is followed by a darker latitude oriented cloud boundary.
Considering its low resolution, and the fact they were obtained about 6h after Luigi Morrone obtained his images, positioning seems correct.
Also attached a map projection from june 13 and 14 images to show global context.

We had clear skies this morning and I made an observation of Venus. Alas the seeing conditions were rather poor, however there were a number of features visible:
Illuminated Disk: Some interesting markings seen although only in the better moments of seeing.
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
Terminator: Geometrically regular
Cusp Caps: Both seen, but both of them seemed to be rather dull and not as conspicuous as before.
Cusp Collars: Similar- both visible but neither particularly conspicuous.
I did receive a number of IR observations this morning from BAA Mercury and Venus Section members which showed the cloud discontinuity. I was unable to see it visually in the telescope this morning (although conditions weren't great)- nonetheless I think it is probably to thin to be seen visually.

I had poor to〓fair seeing for these UV and IR 850nm BP captures of Venus. The IR being less susceptible to the seeing fared a little better. The UV image shows a very bright band to the south near the limb on the f side of the Central Meridian. Unfortunately〓only broad patterns are resolved. The IR image shows two brighter〓bands astride the equatorial region.
I had high hopes of capturing many more images of Venus this morning apparition, but the cloudy weather has determined otherwise.
