Dear sirs, quite a stressful imaging session today... favorable seeing and clear sky before Venus was visible, then complete cloud coverage with rain, only clearing at about 7.30UT and only for a short period.
Managed to grab two independent IR images and a UV image, all from single 5min SERs.
The cloud discontinuity was already quite close to the limb, but still perfectly evident in IR,and coincident with a clear (darker) line in UV that was followed by a linear reinforcement (brighter). These features are arrowed on enhanced miniatures.
Atmosphere looked turbulent in IR following the CD,and presented an oblique bright band in UV,linking SPR to the equator.
Also added a gif animation between IR and UV images to compare the patterns of both cloud layers, and a map projection from june 22-24 to provide a broader view and allow to follow features in different days.
