Dear sirs, similar observation conditions as yesterday allowing IR (average resolution) and UV (low resolution) Venus imaging.
The cloud discontinuity (arrows), seen yesterday near the terminator, was again observed today, but this time near the limb (well seen in IR but with almost impossible correlation to UV data; arrow ??). An IR-dark thicker N end of the discontinuity was seen following the rest of the well defined thin discontinuity line. A thinner/faint IR-dark linear feature was seen following the S part of the discontinuity.
N and S PRs were dark in IR but the remaining disk was feature-poor with the exception of a〓circunferencial IR-dark pattern at the center of the planetary disk (encircled) with what appeared to be a corresponding UV bright feature (??).
IR gif animation (first and last IR images) shows rotation of the above described features, and the UV (7:11UT)-IR (7:18UT) gif can be used to access the relative positioning of relevant features (arrow and circumference).
