Dear Sirs,rapidly degrading seeing conditions (below-average seeing) only allowed a few IR images.
The most evident feature was an IR-dark and rather large equatorial globular region (arrow) with a narrower continuity towards the limb. In the N hemisphere,two "hook-like" dark features (arrowheads) were apparently linked to it. N and SPRs were IR dark.
