Dear sirs, here are my Venus images obtained today with average seeing but poor transparency (high clouds). Used another camera (ASI294MM), more sensitive to UV ( wanted to grab UV images) but with lower IR sensitivity. No UV imaging possible due to poor transparency, clouds, and close proximity to the Sun. However, with both IR filters (>850nm and 820nm-920nm) a linear bright-dark interface was readily visible (arrowed). In my opinion (feedback, please) the cloud discontinuity corresponds to that interface. I was expecting to see it yesterday.
