Sinus Sabaeus and Sinus Meridiani is at the CM. Mare Erythraeum and Pyrrhea Regio is on the left. Note the clouds on Mare Acidalium close to the north pole. The north polar cap is visible. Syrtis Major is setting on the right. Hellas Basin is on the lower right and is covered with clouds.

Mars observations made at roughly one and a half hour intervals last night. The phase is not quite noticeable and I had the impression that there might have been a lot of subtle white cloud activity.
On the evening limb,Solis Lacus could be seen along with the streak from Ganges. Depressiones Aoniae was rather dark and extended south west. To the far south the Mare Chronium could be made out- Phaethontis was distinct but not overly bright. Mare Sirenum quite dark in places. There seemed to be a number of faint streaks visible in the deserts of the far north. The NPH is now quite hard to see.

Seeing was poor but a short period of better stability allowed 3 sets for this de-rotated rgb, with Elysium at central meridian. The SPC is bright, thin and bordered by a dark collar. Residual NPH cloud is over Utopia at the morning limb. Patchy clouds are present over the southern polar region.

Here is a report of Mars on the 16th january using the 80mm refractor and good images.
Lot of atmospheric veils and clouds at the limb and terminator.
The overall disk color became orange light yellow.
