Uranus First attempt CH4 727 and continuum 750nm - feedback for next apparition by A.Cidadao
I would like to share my first results on Uranus using a 727nm methane band filter and matched continuum. I can also share the corresponding SER files (two independent files for each filter; one at bin 2x2 and the other at bin 3x3; camera settings files also included) so all interested can evaluate raw data, do processing, and may advise me for next apparition.

Uranus was relatively low in the sky, and I only used 5min SERs, so I anticipate that much better data can be obtained (next year...). I added the Mars images (same filters, same image scale) obtained some minutes earlier, so that seeing conditions at the time can be evaluated.

I used a QHY5III200M camera, at the 14" LX200 (image sampling of 0.093 arcsec/pixel at bin 1x1). Gain for Mars was 300 (15ms) and for Uranus was 400 (125ms), and I also attached the camera sensor analysis, and arrowed the results for the gains used.
