Attached is my first observation of Venus in the current 2022-23 eastern elongation. The planet is still low down but will improve over the coming months. Although seeing was poor some faint cloud markings could be seen on the disk. Other points include: Bright Limb Band: Not seen Terminator: Geometrically regular Cusp Caps: Neither seen Cusp Collars: Southern cusp collar seems to be present.[Paul G.
