Attached are two observations of Venus made yesterday afternoon in the daytime. My 8 inch Newtonian is now back in action and even though the seeing was poor I did manage to see some interesting cloud markings ont he Cytherean disk. I had hoped to make some observations with a W47 filter but seeing was too poor for that. Other points include:
・Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
・Terminator: Geometrically regular
・Cusp Caps: Southern cusp cap large and bright, but perhaps not as bright as before. No real sign of the northern cusp cap.
・Cusp Collars: Southern cusp collar seen- again not as easy as before. No sign of the northern collar.

Yesterday it rained one inch (25mm) and gave me a chance to catch up on my image processing. All caught up with Venus now.
