Here's a colour shot of Venus in mid-afternoon,showing the delicate 3.5% illuminated Venus as it heads between us and the Sun. Venus was 15 degrees from the Sun,standing directly above the Sun in my sky. I used the side of my garage to protect the C14 from the Sun.
The horns of Venus are extending,measured stretching approximately 195 degrees round the circle,and at 55.4" was huge and barely fit on the camera chip!
Celestron C14 at f/22,ZWO ASI462MC,UV/IR cut filter,ZWO ADC,4x 30s exposure,processed in Autostakkert,Registax and Photoshop.

Here is a venus report using the 80mm refractor last 04th august.
I tried to render the coloring description of this AL light.
Difficult to do better with my coloured pencils.
The AL intensity was similar to level 1 or little under.

透明度の良い日中、内合に近い金星（内合は8月13日）は青空にスカッと見えた。糸の様な弓状は極めて細くシャープです。
