Please find attached my Venus observations made this morning in good conditions. The seeing conditions were fair for much of the time. The sun was still low on the horizon and I was able to see the planet straight away with the unaided eye against the blue morning daytime sky.
Venus was at dichotomy- I reduced the aperture and found that the phase anomaly could only be seen in the W38A blue filter. Other points include:
- Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
- Terminator: Geometrically regular
- Cusp Caps: Both present- the northern cusp cap was large and very bright. I noticed that the northern cusp cap seemed to be a little blunted while the cusp anomaly could be seen in the south.
- Cusp Collars: Both present- the northern cusp collar seemed to be darker.

時折高層の薄雲が通過しシーイングはあまり良くありません。

早朝、丁度半月状の金星は気流がよく、眼視でも淡い模様が分かりました。
金星模様を出すために強い処理にしました。
