We had a clear skies this morning with fair seeing and good transparency and I made an observation of Venus. The planet is still fairly easy to see with the unaided eye in the daytime sky.

There was a dark streak visible on the disk and this could be seen in IL as well as all of the filters used. Also:

Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete

Terminator: Geometrically regular, dark terminator shading present.

Cusp Caps: Both very bright, the northern cusp cap continues to be the larger of the two.

Cusp Collars: The southern cusp collar was rather dark however I was unable to see the northern cusp collar.

By 1034UT seeing became very poor and Venus observations were concluded.

I was unable to view the occultation of Venus which occurred on 9th November due to cloud.
