Another bright sky image set from yesterday afternoon with the RGB captured 7 mins before sunset. The RLP, R and G conditions were decent, but the B was poor, making interpretation of the NP region difficult.
The “doughnut” of Olympus Mons can just be made out to the left of centre. Mare Sirenum is near the upper limb. Propontis I is near the terminator at lower right.
The NPC remains quite distinct in the RLP, R and G. In the R, the light spot to the right of the NPC appears to coincide with Olympia in the Winjupos simulation, although there does appear to be an extended light feature.
