I had some interesting seeing conditions well before sunset yesterday afternoon, with some short periods of really nice seeing interspersed with a total disintegration of the image on screen. Unfortunately the good periods didn’t extend towards sunset and I was unable to capture any decent RGB data. Niliacus Lacus is central with Mare Acidalium extending below it. Margaritifer/Indus are quite obvious. Hydospes is also noted. Sinus Meridiani is seen on the upper left limb. I again note the lightness of eastern Valles Marineris region extending below Mare Erythraeum.[Clyde Foster : Khomas,Namibia]
