The phase is now quite small at around 20% and so there is little detail on the disk. Seeing conditions were fair and the cusps of the planet came to a sharp point. There was no sign of the cusp anomaly:
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
Terminator: Geometrically regular
Cusp Caps: Equal brightness, but no other details seen.
Cusp Collars: Not seen.
1735UT: Returned to view Venus in a dark sky- I observed the planet at x150 and there was no sign of the Ashen Light.

1 micron approximately, recorded by Phil on the night of Feb 22 in reasonable conditions. data was recorded starting just after sunset.
4 videos were recorded spanning about 40 minutes in total using our modified U3-34E0XCP-M-NO camera with imx664 mono sensor, cover glass removed from the sensor to prevent unwanted reflections.
A reference image is shown on the right using a topo map that shows elevation. Higher elevation (green and yellow) equates to cooler temperatures and appear as darker features in the thermal image on the left.
