Hi all, here's a comparison between a nightside thermal image from this morning and a topo reference map. Higher altitudes are cooler (darker) in the thermal image. The animation shows some correlation with known surface topology but there are also several interesting places where brighter/darker streaks can be seen. We recorded 4 x 15m runs this morning in good conditions and the same features were visible in all of them. The image here is a weighted combination of all 4 individual images. The arms of Aphrodite can be seen quite clearly rising on the far right. This formation will rotate further into view over the coming weeks.[Anthony Wesley,Murrumbateman Australia] ≪アンソニ オーストラリア≫
