Hi all, here's an image of Venus from this morning through our 1000-1020nm bandpass filter showing some features on the night side in thermal emission. Seeing was very poor this morning due to high haze and cloud, but combining 5 runs recorded over an hour showed some features, although at low resolution compared to previous mornings. Aphrodite can be seen at right in the image as well as several other surface features that align with the topo map.
