Please find attached an observation of Venus I made this morning in the daytime sky. Alas seeing was not very good but there were some interesting details including some subtle cloud markings on the disk. Also:
Bright Limb Band: Difficult to see
Terminator: Geometrically regular
Cusp Caps: The southern cusp cap is very large and brilliant,this was very prominent. The northern cusp was dull and ill defined.
Cusp Collars: Only the southern cusp collar was really seen.
I hoped to make observations with other filters but seeing became to poor to continue and observations were stopped at 1018UT.

夜半にスコールがあったもよう。動きの遅い高層のむら雲越し。光量不安定、シーイング不良。
