KOSHO KAIKAN WELCOME! Welcome to Kosho-kaikan, and thank you for staying with us. Our kaikan is a religious facility maintained by the Kosho-ji school of Jodo-Shinsyu Buddhist denomination specifically to spread the Jodo-Shinsyu teating. Because of the recommendations of travel agencies and articles about us in travel magazines for the past several years, however, the average traveller has also begun to make use of our inexpensive facilities. We are extremely gratified that our facilities are so poplar, but because our purpose is religious in nature, the rules for our facilities differ from those of the average hotel or ryokan. The purpose of this booklet is to inform you of our rules. We request that you adhere to them strictly. The fact that you are staying with us is what is reffered to in Buffha-dharma as an en, a karmic relationship. If this relationship helps you even in the slightest as you make your way in life, we can ask for nothing more. Please read these rules of our kaikan at your leisure, and be sure to follow them.
