Summary
STB Oval 'BA'
STB Oval 'BA'がII=327度に見られます。嶋田氏は眼視で、伊賀は眼視と画像で、ぼんやりとした白斑を確認しました。周辺では見えにくく、CM付近で見えやすくなっています。

STrZ Dark Streak
大赤斑から伸びるSTrZのDark Streakが、さらに前進しているようです。StreakとSEBsとの間に、暗部ができています。
EZs Dark Spots
大赤斑の北を通過する際に形成されたEZsの暗斑が前進しています。ややぼやけてきたようです。
NEB
ここに見られる経度のNEB内には、白いRiftが延々と走っています。所々に明るい白斑が見られます。
NNTB BAR
NNTBに顕著なBARが2ヶ所見られます。

Greetings Everyone...

Attached are my first images of the 2000-2001 Jupiter apparition.

These were taken on the morning of July 20, between 09:00 and 09:45 UT. There are a pair of Near IR images, and one Methane image. Details are listed on the image. The images are a bit on the small side, but this is about the limit of seeing at present.

There are tow small white spots in the methane image in the area of the S. Temperate Zone. One is close to the limb below Europa, and the other is approaching the CM. The CM of the new merged oval was given in the vicinity of 270-290 deg L3 by David Lehman on April 06. The methane im has a CM of approx 292. Could either of these spots be the merged feature?

  • 台風の雲がかかって薄曇りだったが、シーイングが良かったので高倍率で観測した。
  • BAはSTBの濃化部の前方にぼんやりとした明部として見える。
  • CM右でNEBsがEZｎに盛り上がっている。内部には白雲が入り乱れており、ただならぬ様相である。

  • BAがII=327.1度に見えている。形はやや小さい。
  • SEBsは濃く、暗斑が連なっているようだ。
  • EZsのI=99.6度に白斑がある。

  • BAは周辺に近づくと見えにくくなる。
  • STBの後端部に大きめの明部(II=12)が見える。
  • NNTBみ右に短めのBARが見える。

  • 右端に大赤斑が見えてきた。
  • 大赤斑の前方にはSTrZのDark StreakがII=25度まで伸びている。
  • NEBnのII=15度に暗斑があり、その後方のII=42度のNEB中央に白斑がある。

  • なぜか永続白斑の撮れそうな時によく晴れる新潟の伊藤です。
  • 話題のグレイト赤白(GRS＆GWS)、明日の朝は高度が低く，詳細をつかむのは難しそうですが,月曜の朝はなんとしても見てみたいです。

  • BAが明るく見える、かなり明瞭でコントラスト効果による錯覚ではないと思われる
  • SEBはCM前方でSEBZがやや明るい
  • CM後方でNEBsが大きく盛り上がってEZnが強くshadeされている
