Hi all,
Here is my first Jupiter observation.
Seeing conditions were fairly  favourable.
Oval BA was observed, looking much faded from
its appearance last year.

12" (30.5cm) Meade SCT.
Magnification: 406x.
Filters: W#21/Unfiltered.

Seeing variable (3-8.)
Transparency excellent (5.0mag.)
Wind SW (5-10mph.) Light dew.

Alitude: 30 degs.
Diameter: 34.2".

Observation comments:
Periods of good seeing allowed detailed views.
A shadow transit of Europa (II) was in progress.
Oval BA was seen, and a dark spot marked its f.
edge, while its dark rim was very faint, with a
faint streak of STB material preceding it, only
seen on the best moments.

The SEB appeared quite turbulent, with a brighter
 SEBZ, with details across it.
The SEBn appeared quite dark, as did the SEBs,
thought no jetstream spots were noted.
The EZ was deviod of any noticaeble detail, only
bluish areas on the NEBs were seen.
The NEB itself appeared dark, with two distinct
dark barges seen, one preceding a bright NEBn bay
 (spot Z?) and one following it, which appeared a
little more elongated.
The NTB appeared dark, a brick red in colour
(as with the NEB.) A short sector of NNTB was
also present, rather grey in colour.

25cm+LV12mm+prism 2d+Picona(1/7s)

・台風１１号の影響でシ−イングが極めて悪く
なってきました。
8/17は１時間粘ったが、撮影をあきらめました。
8/18は１時間粘って何とか撮影できました。
しばらくは１１号に泣かされそうですね。
 木星面は大きな変化はなさそうです。
ＧＲＳが顔を出し始めているようです。
