・土星食のため２：３０起床。雲天のはずが薄雲の快晴。
  とりあえず木星を撮影。高速で雲が流れ、シ−イング
  はとても悪い。ＧＲＳと衛星の影が見える程度。

・土星食（といっても当地では接近のみ）の時刻に近づくに
  つれ、どんどん雲に覆われる。あまりいい画像は撮れず。

・ぎっくり腰で、ここ１週間辛い状態が続いている。ド−ムに
  上がるにも、パソコンの前に座るのも苦痛が伴う。

観測コメント：
・SEBsには暗斑の連鎖が見られる。
・SEBnもこの経度は南に太くなっている。
・STBのCM付近の暗斑は第III衛星ガニメデの本体の経過。
・SEBnの右端には第I衛星イオの影の経過が見える。

観測コメント：
・大赤斑が右から見えてきていて、SEBsの暗部が大赤斑の北側に回りこんでいる。
・NEBは一様に赤味の強いベルトで、南縁のFestoonは見られない。
・STBの左端の暗斑は第III衛星ガニメデの本体の経過。
・SEBnの中央には第I衛星イオの影の経過が見える。本体は木星のすぐ右にある。

観測コメント：
・大赤斑の南のSSTBから左下へSTBが斜めに見られる。
・SEBsの暗部が大赤斑の北側に回りこむ様子が良く分かる。
・大赤斑直後のSEBsの暗部は、10月5日UTの予想の通り、大赤斑の南側に回りこみアーチを形成しかけている。
・この経度のNEBは一様で、あまり変化は見られない。
・STBの左端の暗斑は第III衛星ガニメデの本体の経過。
・SEBnの中央には第I衛星イオの影の経過が見える。
・イオ本体の経過が始まり右端に明点として見える。

Hi again,

Here is Oct 07 data, first obtained with the C11 at the balcony (bad seeing) and then with the 10" at the roof (seeing improved at the end of the session).
The integrated light C11 images show the NEB rift longitudes and then the SSTC ovals'
The colour and UV, IR and methane images obtained at the roof show the patterns described in my earlier message (namely the continuing colored NEBn).
Notice the thin and long bridge of dark red material in mid NEB connecting two barges (also seen in the Oct 14 images I previously send).
Notice the dark spot in NPR in IR images, as well as what seems to be an oval S of it.
Still cloudy up there...
