観測コメント：
・STBが左端から大赤斑にかけて濃化している。次第に南にシフトしている。
・SEBはSEBsとSEBnの二重になっている。
・NEBは南縁のFestoonが目立たないために、やや細く感じる。
・第III衛星ガニメデの影の経過がSSTB左端に見られる(終了17h25m)。

観測コメント：
・STBが濃く見えるが、部分的に濃化部が見られる。
・SEBsは暗斑が連なるが、CM右にくびれが見られる。
・NEB南縁のFestoonが目立たないので、EZが幅広く感じる。
・この経度のNTBは太いベルトとして見られる。

　気流は今一つよくなかったが、大赤斑付近の観測ができた。久しぶりに大赤斑を見た気がする。形は楕円形には見えず、横に長い不規則な形の暗斑のように見える。後方のSEBsと接するところに暗部があり、そこから大赤斑の南側にアーチができているようにもみえるが、はっきりしなかった。NEBは全体的に大きく乱れた部分はなく、落ち着いた見え方をしている。ただし、観測終了時刻に近くなって西側のリムから大きなリフト状の模様が見えてきた。この部分はALPOで騒がれた部分に相当するものと思われる。
　大赤斑のCMTでは　中央で　73.4°を計測した。
　ただし、大赤斑の全体の輪郭がはっきりしないので、果たして中心位置と言えるかどうかは、はなはだ怪しい。

Because the seeing wasn't goog, It wasn't possible to have done detailed observation. GRS was not an elliptical form and becamee dark section. Seems the dark part to be behind GRS and the arch seemed to be made from there. NEB is doing the way of that it is possible to see which is monotonous. It measured the position of the GRS in the center of the dark section.

木星は夜明けごろには南の空高くのぼるようになりました。
このところ大気の状態が不安定で，細部までわかる画像が撮影できません。
大赤斑の左下に衛星ガニメデの影が，永続白斑のすぐ左側にイオの影が経過中です。

Hi all,

Here are two recent Jupiter observations (Oct 14 and 16). Some earlier data still on hold...
Both image sets show the SSTC ovals, and the "f" pair still appears close.
On the 06:04 UT clear filter image obtained on Oct 14 some oter tiny SST ovals may be seen "?"
Plenty of detail on the EZ, especially with the IR, R and clear filter.
With the B filter, but mainly in UV light, the EZn is considerably darker than its s counterpart.
NEB(n) shows dark barges and a couple of white ovals. No distinct bright rifts were present in the longitudes imaged, except for a minor feature over a elongated blue streak (on NEBs, dark in IR), at about L2 250.
On SEBs there is a small dark feature in G and B, smaller but resenbling NEBn barges (at about L2 245, aligned in longitude with one of the NEB barges). It was seen in Ocr 14 and 16, and as I am now blocked by clouds and rain, I sk for confirmation and follow-up by others with larger instruments and good seeing.
The NPR shows various detail, both in colour, IR and clear filters. The NTB continues to exhibit a sharp decrease in visibility at about L2 240. An IR dark NNTB(?) spot may be present at about L2 235. A dark STB spot may be present at about L2 270.
My methane filter continues to produce the overall results obtained last year, namely an almost complete absence of deeper albedo features. On Oct 16, the dark NEBs streaks (hot spots) visible in IR were almost invisible in methane. The SP hood continues to be more defined. The NEB wavy pattern well visualised in last apparition methane images is now less apparent.
